  15. Win'95.  It's:

  30. :-)  The early versions of RPI were a bit flakey, coupled with users on
  31. a tight budget often running a 286 too and thus unable to operate with
  32. Windows then that _was_ a recipe for disaster.  Having to keep to the
  33. same supplied terminal software for DOS was a real pain.  But with higher
  34. CPU speeds, RPI+, loads more RAM available and Windows versions that do
  35. 32bit processing then WinRPI+ is an alternative.

  37. It also has the advantage of offering higher page or frame sizes too
  38.  
  39. Rockwell has just produced a V34 combi-hardware/RPI+ modem.  And most
  40. "built for Windows" terminal applications will work with it in RPI+ mode
